Interfaith Youth Chapter Started Journey in Bangladesh
On 29 July 2011 held 1st official meeting of Interfaith Youth Chapter of Bangladesh at Dhaka. In this meeting 12 Youth leaders came together from different faith and agreed to set up Interfaith Youth Chapter in Bangladesh. In the meeting Young people shared their positive views and reflection on interfaith journey. This meeting was organize and initiated by Y’Net Bangladesh which is volunteer students and Youth Network.
Vision of the interfaith Youth Chapter is Dialogue to build a better Bangladesh to building up unity and peace through the interfaith youth friendship and cooperation. In the net young people are concerns to protect eco-earth. On July 29, 2011 11 youth leaders came together for the first official meeting of the Interfaith Youth Chapter of Bangladesh. This group will closely work in partnership with the World Faith and to pursue World Faith’s vision of interfaith cooperation through service. World Faith Bangladesh is organizing their very first event on August 13th in which volunteers will share an iftar and participate in an interfaith discussion. Funds will also be collected to help impoverished students receive an education. Through out the meeting interfaith friends circle joint together and started journey in Bangladesh and also composed national operational executive board 2011. This board is entrusted to promote Interfaith Youth Chapter Network in Bangladesh through the official and legal procedures. The Operational Executive Board 2011 composed by seven members. Bipul Alite Gonsalves, youth activist was entrusted as a National Director other members are MD. Anwar, Milred D’ Costa, Mark Julious Baroi, Jony Baroi, Md Nur –Ul-Muyeed and Monica Lvely Pereira.
